Silence alone, afraid, yearning to be heard in a world of multiple voices.
Silence dark, unforgiving, yearning to break free from bais, ignorence.
Silence hateful, deafning, yearning to be unafraid, of judgements from peers unknown
Silence now understood, free to rise up, to speak, well maybe, we hope.

The meaning of life in general in my view is what you will do in life. Meaning in other words is meant. So what you will do in the future is what you were meant to do thus it is your meaning in life. What happens is what was meant to happen but not what you were meant to do. We cannot and will not know our meaning in life unless we knew future events that are to come. The difference between the two, (what is meant to happen compared to what you were meant to do) is.. say you were born and was sitting in the back seat. Another car hits your car and you die. The difference is, you were meant to live life only to die. What was meant to happen was you getting hit and killed by another car. Now although this isn't the actual meaning of life since it could be anything. It is only my assumption of what the general and specific meaning of life can be. (specific if given specific events, and general if talking about worldwide.)What do you all who read this think about it?

I'm a little confused. Muslims had the holy land. Then Christians who wanted the holy land (because it's holy) went to get it. (1st one). Afterwards, Muslims went to get it back (2nd) and then it went on a complete loop like that (with King Richard 'the Braveheart'?)

What year did the 1st one happen, and what year did the 2nd one happen?

(sorry, but I forgot as we haven't dont them for a while, and I don't find it as easy to leaf through information. First answer will win the 10p unless an answer after that proves it was inaccurate)

thanks

My daughter's a preschooler and has been attending baby dance lessons on Saturdays held at a local dance college which does dance courses all the way up to A Level standard. She loves dance classes (which is why she wanted me to put her in one in the first place), and from what I see they seem to mainly focus on tap dancing and ballet. Thing is, when she's 6 she will have to choose what kind of dance she wants to major in and the college does courses in "Rock School"(which is a type of ballet-like dance, not the same as the TV's "Rock School" programs about making rock music!), "Jazz Dance", "Modern Dance", "Ballet" and "Tap". I live in the UK and can't seem to find any good dance videos out there for children which showcase all the different types of dances. How do I help her choose the right kind of dance for her? (She definitely hates "Tap" dancing that's for sure, she told me...)

I live in a small town in Utah, and I'm going to a college in Utah with a good acting program, but where do I go from there? How do I make theatre a career? I don't want to be one of those aspiring actresses that moves to L.A. and works her butt off only to be disappointed...where should I start?

I've been kicking these ideas and feelings around in my head for a long time and I want to finally use them in my writing, but they won't come out. Every time I sit down to try and write them, I never no where to begin and I get frustrated and give up. Is there anyone who can help me? I would greatly appreciate it.

I am really into fiction, like C.S. Lewis, and J.K. Rowling. I like futuristic books. I just finished the Left Behind series by Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye and loved it. I like long books, but not "Gone With the Wind" long. Does any one know any books that would fit into those categories?
