I've recently purchased a Wooden Blank Artist Framed stretched Canvas, plus the material I wanted. I wanted to create Fabric Art Walling hanging piece but not exactly to sure where to begin. I've completly gone BLANK :( I've searched the web all I seem to be gettin is how to paint etc. The part I'm stuck on is not sure how to apply the material onto the canvas, like what sort of glue do I use and should of purchased a canvas without a frame or is better with the frame and later apply the frame?
I was told to apply primer first and use that to stick the fabric onto the canvas.. Not too sure about that. And also Do I need to apply something over the fabric so it would be easier to clean?
What should I be cautious about when doing a piece like this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated !
Details of the canvas+Material cotton
40cm x 40cm
15mm frame thickness
White blank surface
Wood construction frame
Suited for oils and acrylics
Premium cotton duck with acrylic gesso primd

I am in my second year at University (contemporary fine art degree) and currently researching for my essay proposal. I have been researching so much that I've lost the plot. Underneath are a some of the research areas, so if anybody could help with a title and argument for my essay to help me condense my research I can maybe sleep at night ! Has anybody done an essay on similiar subject matter? Or can anybody recommend a free website with example essays and dissertations?

Can anybody help?

Basically, the law separates the humans from the monsters of society. Monsters are creatures, once thought to be human, that commit crimes so heinous (multpile rapes/murders, especially cases involving torture) that they are devoid of any kind of soul and are therefore Monsters.

Then, we can put them to destroy them & there will be no more loss of "human life", because he (or she) was a monster.

What do you think?

Spotted Darkness
By: Eric Wyatt

I stared into the dim, cold night,
Watching the stars go by.
Luminous white against pitch black,
Painted the stunning sky.

I gazed at this classic marvel,
Waiting for something strange.
This night was like all the others,
Nothing seemed it would change.

But once I looked closely above,
Something looked out of place.
The stars began to move around,
Until they made a face.

I wished to dance among the stars,
And lose myself in dark.
So I could have my face up there,
For me to leave my mark.

My place was not among the stars,
My face will never shine.
But now I know how hard it was,
For someone to design.

I do not know whose face I saw,
I probably never will.
But when at night I see that face,
My life stands almost still.

I had a sore throat for two days and now my voice is hoarse. I can't sing because not all the notes come out and I have a concert and then a competition coming up. What can I do? I have three days before the competition.

I'm in high school right now, but when I graduate and move on to bigger things in theatre, I want a stage name. My real name is Erin Nicole Crabtree, but I'm thinking of stage name being Erin Nicole Elliot. What do you think? I want to keep my first name, and I'm not doing Erin Nicole because too many people already use that name.

Can love hurt?
Will it hurt?
Is it toxic?
Like mercury,
when you touch it,
it burns through your hands.
For love, it burns through your heart.
Or is it as a sleeping pill?
One pill,
and your in bed with some guy?
Or is it like a new born puppy,
one look, and your in love,
Again I ask, Can love hurt?

It was a barechested man holding a small baby down his arm, looking at it lovingly. It was all over the news for some reason..years ago! What can you tell me about it? Who is it? Where can I find it?

Something that I could find at a local library? Not really interested in something where the person is in the air force or navy but if they're good, then it won't matter.

She once went to a dance school in Bridlington where we used to live ( it wasn`t a special needs school ) and the teacher there asked her to show her a sample of her work(she does all her own choreography) - she was amazed! She said that if you couldn`t see that she was downes then you certainly wouldn`t be able to tell by her dancing.
We have now moved and I can`t find a local dance school or theatre group. I really want to help her in her chosen career as she really enjoys it and she is very dedicated - she practises her routines every day without fail.
We live in Peterlee , county durham - anyone got any ideas?

I read a book last year and thought it was great. Basically it was about this girl that had slept with alot of men and was giving herself a really hard time about it...so basically she goes on this adventure trying to track down all the men she's ever slept with in the hope of going back out with one of them to keep the number of guys she'd slept with as low as possible. Also her sisters getting married in the book and she falls in love with the guy she lives next door to, who is actually helping her track down all her past Ex's. I don't know of that helps.
thanx

Tried this in the languages forum and got nothing as it is admittedly obscure. I am trying to figure out what the references in the entries in Du Cange's Glossarium correspond to. For instance, after a definition, I see "Lit. remiss. ann. 1352, in Reg. 81. Chartoph reg. ch. 507:" from which follows a passage in which the word I am looking up is used. I get that it comes from a register from 1352, but I can't find a legend that will point me to the source of the quote. If anyone could tell me what to do or where to find more information either in Du Cange or in some other book or article I would greatly appreciate it.

I bought a Framed page with his Intial on it today. It seem's rather old. The only reference I can Find of him is from the 1800's and his works on Mermaids. I do know he was a Naturalist and author, but other than that, not much and no reference to his works on Faerie's.
