I've recently purchased a Wooden Blank Artist Framed stretched Canvas, plus the material I wanted. I wanted to create Fabric Art Walling hanging piece but not exactly to sure where to begin. I've completly gone BLANK :( I've searched the web all I seem to be gettin is how to paint etc. The part I'm stuck on is not sure how to apply the material onto the canvas, like what sort of glue do I use and should of purchased a canvas without a frame or is better with the frame and later apply the frame?
I was told to apply primer first and use that to stick the fabric onto the canvas.. Not too sure about that. And also Do I need to apply something over the fabric so it would be easier to clean?
What should I be cautious about when doing a piece like this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated !
