This is just what I tossed off last night because I couldn't sleep.. Please give me some constructive criticism..

Aura of the Rose

A single red rose rests upon a grand piano, relishing in its own delicate beauty. The room contains no walls, its boundaries are limitless. A rich, midnight black is present throughout the atmosphere. Though the room exists boundless, the rose possesses a divine aura which blossoms in the eyes of many. It signifies a vast number of things; Loneliness..Hope...Romance..Solitude... Yet, somewhere, with all its meanings, lies a hushed heavenly elegance.

(I do know the first two setences are run-ons, and there are a few sentence structures which are incorrect, but I left them alone so as to keep the flow of the statements.. Please be honest.)

I love Linda Needham historical romance books. I especially like the characters and the sex scenes. Not crude, but definitely hot. Are there any other authors that write in a similar style that you would recommend?

My Great Grandfather Thomas Hollins was in the Marchmount Home with 2 brothers, Samuel (eldest) and Charles (youngest).
They were together at Stoke-on-Trent Union, Staffordshire. They left England in the late 1800's for Canada. According to records they left behind another brother William and an Uncle Charles who lived in Longton. Should there be anyone that might have knowledge I would love to hear from you.
Regards,
Scott Hollins

I want to start charging for enhancing/fixing/restoring photos through ebay. But I don't know if I've marketed it right or if I'm charging an OK amount. I spend a minimum of an hour and half per photo and do it diligently - I don't just use quick photoshop filters.

Could you let me know what you think and whether you have any suggestions for improvement?

Today's college students are more narcissistic and self-centered than their predecessors, according to a comprehensive new study by five psychologists who worry that the trend could be harmful to personal relationships and American society.

"We need to stop endlessly repeating 'You're special' and having children repeat that back," said the study's lead author, Professor Jean Twenge of San Diego State University. "Kids are self-centered enough already."

The standardized inventory, known as the NPI, asks for responses to such statements as "If I ruled the world, it would be a better place," "I think I am a special person" and "I can live my life any way I want to."

"Unfortunately, narcissism can also have very negative consequences for society, including the breakdown of close relationships with others," he said.

The study asserts that narcissists "are more likely to have romantic relationships that are short-lived, at risk for infidelity, lack emotional warmth, and to e

Him and his cohort have a film in which they claim to have found Jesus's family tomb. Ths film and the reserch behind it are totally lacking any scientific basis. Do you think that this study missing that scholarly process really support a strong conclusion that jesus was married and had kids. Do you feel this makes James C a nut? Why/Why not. Sorry I will not accept answers that attack religion, this is purely a science question.
The scientific method, which is the backbone of all true science was not used in this so-called investigation. Does the total disregaurd for the nature of true science relegate James C to Nut status? Is any study that does not follow the scientific method valid? I want to hear your answers.

would you date him hoping to become attracted to him or what would you do?
I met this guy and he's a christian like myself...we both are serious about our christianity..he really likes me and thinks I'm his future wife...I think he's a great guy, has excellent values and he cares a lot about where his spiritual life is heading...overall a great guy...except that physically I don't find him attractive... I feel bad about this. I don't want to seem superficial but shouldn't there be physical attraction in a relationship too?? Doesn't that matter? what would you do?

Siome people beleive that everyone can be an artist, it's just that many were discouraged when young, or lack the self-confidence to overcome initial faillures, or have suppressed their creative capacities.

Personally, I am very dubious of these theories.

What do you think?

The earliest Sumerian versions of the epic date from as early as the Third dynasty of Ur (2150 BC-2000 BC) . The earliest Akkadian versions are dated to the early second millennium. It contains an account of a "flood" as well as a quest for immortality. It is among the oldest, if not THE oldest written tale in the world. Do you know what it is?
