No, because it would make perfect sense. Professor T's predictions would finally come true, Voldemort would also very likely be completely destroyed, and Harry would remain the fallen hero. And he'd be reunited with his parents. The hero torch could then be passed on to another character. It practically writes itself...which may not be a good thing.

If Harry doesn't die at the end of Book 7, Rowling has a few places to go: She can go for the crappy, happy ending, but many readers would hate that. She could make Harry responsible for someone else's death; that's kind of a mean way to end the series, but it's a possibility. Harry could just grow up finally and have to get a job upon graduation. Harry could end up a teacher at Hogwarts. Just some ideas.

No, not really, but my wife might. Harry Potter's death would give the author a chance to bring him back like three days after he dies, and the he can ascend into heaven and the other magicians can go and do Potter's good work.

i'm going to be very disenchanted if Harry dies, relatively as he's the main character. JK Rowling's have been given adequate potential in her writing to make her readers cry regardless of if Wormtail dies, and then if she does plan on killing Harry, she is going to make beneficial we under no circumstances forget approximately the loss of life scene, so clearly i will cry, yet no longer a million/2 as much as I cried whilst Sirius (my widely used character) died. His death introduced a lump to my throat even whilst i replaced into re-examining the e book for the fourth time. and that i would be basically approximately as disenchanted if Lupin dies. i did no longer cry whilst Cedric and Dumbledore died, in spite of the undeniable fact that.

Well I cried when Sirius died and I cried when Dumbledore died. All in all I don't think it much matters who dies in the seventh book I'll cry. But if Harry dies. . .I'll cry ALOT. Cause you know. . . I grew up with those books. I got the first one when I was eleven.
I still can't believe its almost over.

No, I think that might even be an appropriate ending. Otherwise, I would want book 8, 9 10...29.

Not really. Harry's continuous teen angst is starting to wear on my nerves. I will be more upset if Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, or Neville (particularly Neville) dies. Ron and Neville are my two favorite characters. Luna is cool, too, and I also really like professor McGonagall. The thing is, Malfoy and Snape are also major characters. What if one of them is supposed to die?

Probably, and I will feel sad when my son (who's now 2) decides to start reading the books only to know that in the end his hero will die.

Of course. I cried when Sirius went through the veil and when Snape killed Dumbledore. I'm emotional that way.
