Hold on to your toenails there. It's not like they did NOTHING to prove their case and that they have no scientific evidence whatsoever.
The age of the remains has been (scientifically) dated to two thousand years ago. DNA from some of the remains have been compared (scientifically) and those that are supposed to be unrelated (according to their claim) are. Even the commonality of the names were compared (statistically) to try and determine the likelihood that some random tomb would have this exact collection of apparently significant ones.
I'll agree with you to an extent, however. None of this is slam-dunk evidence. But let me counter with another question: how could they possibly GET slam dunk evidence?
Some will suggest that there are religious artifacts that are supposedly smeared with Jesus' blood (the spear of Longinus, parts of the cross, and so on), so the DNA from those might be compared. The problem is that most of these relics are likely to be complete fakes. If you should compare the relic DNA and found them to come from five different people, how would you ever tell which one (if any!) is the real Jesus?
You're also going to run into another problem - there are many, many people who will simply not want you to succeed in your proofs, even if they are scientifically valid. Do you think the Vatican is going to lend you some of their relics for analysis? They haven't yet, even for much more innocuous projects than this. And who, other than true believers, are likely to have any of these proofs you would need?
Leaving this example aside, there is virtually no secular evidence that Jesus even existed. People believed the Shroud of Turin to be associated with Jesus with FAR less evidence than Cameron has.
So is Cameron a nut? He's certainly being heavily partial, and he's certainly making assertions that few scholars and scientists are comfortable with based on what they have. But all that doesn't even make him wrong.
Of course, even if he's right, he still might be a whack-job. I can't say I know him well enough to say. Peace.

In our modern times he would only be a nut if he did something like this on Islam or the Prophet Muhammad. It is ok to disrespect Christians today.

As a christian I believe that James Cameron cannot be right. To me, this entire ordeal seems to be a large publicity stunt to promote the documentary that he directed. Some people in the world are only worried about money, and I think that he is trying to raise interest in his film.

No one will ever find Jesus' body, because He is in Heaven sitting at the right hand of God the Father.

he is a nut, I started hating him ever since he left his wife Linda Hamilton for another woman (Titanic), he doesn't deserve my reviews. I don't even believe what he has to say or do.

I think he's looking for some attention, and after so many years without it, he's stooped to lying, or stooped to insanity, whichever you prefer.
