Morgan Freeman once said, "There is no black history or white history. There is just history."* I am so on board with that and am curious as to what other people think about that. We have gone through, and are going through, so much turmoil trying to bring races together. Why would we want to divide our histories? Let's combine them, it's all the same history...human history.

*This quote comes from the special edition of the movie Glory. You can watch the actors give comments etc while the movie plays. Freeman says this at one point during the movie.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any programs on the internet that would teach me how to play guitar. No full of himself famous guitarist just showing off how good he is and discoraging others. I mean like a program I can download and use for free that would teach me how to play and test my skills.O yeah I only have an acoustic so lessons for acoustic guitar playing would be good. I have no idea how to teach myself guitar because I hardly know anything about it or what to play. The only thing I can play really is the main riff where its all open string for "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. So please help me. I really want to learn this instrument.

Is there anywhere that I can audition for a real play or musical in Columbus, Ohio at the age of sixteen? I really want some audition experience and possibly some onstage experience outside of my school, but I'm not sure where to go or what to do... does anyone know any good websites I could use to find auditions, or specific places to look?

I know that this question has been asked in some form or another several times, but it is the one question I've wanted to ask and get answers too for a long time now.
Ever since I first questioned existence, not a day has passed that I haven't thought about it. The problem is that I think about it almost all the time even if only in the back of my mind. I obsess over it sometimes, and I've even panicked thinking about it before.
I've thought about what does it mean to exist anyway? What would be if we weren't...being?
Then I have those thoughts that I am ashamed of because they seem so selfish. Am I the only one who exists or who can see this? Am I the only thinking being here and everything was built as an illusion or movie for me?

I try to reason it, but I can't seem to settle the thoughts. If anyone has any answers, I'd greatly appreciate them. Thanks.
