I would like to tour east coast /historic US sites with teenagers. Perhaps PA? Any recommendations for sites not to be missed?

I live in PA.

Obviously Philly, esp. Independence hall and Ben Franklin House and liberty Bell.

Take a trip to DC while you're there. The Smithsonian is just HUGE and gorgeous.

Stop in Inner Harbor in between for some sightseeing.

Williamsburg tends to be a big hit.

If they're really nerdy and you have a lot of time, you can always do Amish country in Lancaster, PA.

Monticello

Mt. Vernon
