I recently stumled upon a little book called "Peeps in Many Places" South America , and absolutely loved it. It is quite old (Published in 1915) but apparently there were alot of these books from places all around the world. What is the scoop on these books, who were they intended for and who published them?
I guess I just want to know the history of this series, the books are just beautiful.

Would it be more invigorating, or worse that at the begginning of my story a man dies right off the back by being tortured.... And I tell the story of the man-- the ending, to where I tell about the truthful demise and that the person will actually die, even though hes alive at the end, and i left it kinda unfinished as to what happened to all the side characters (better for a sequel?)

[its a fantasy medieval/sci-fi/ no magic or wizards or elfin or dwarves.... just a extremely dark story about how long a-- ehh kinda super person can go on, before he finally gets the blood beat out of him, good kinda story-line?]

for example an atheist nihilist vs. fundamentalist christian.

im not even going to explain how the christian is wrong its too long and too easy.

but the nihilist atheist is also wrong because its an extreme. and they beleive that ife has no meaning. yet for some unexplained reason we are all here, and so is everything else in the 3rd dimention. and they think they know everything, yet they have so many questions that cant be answered. and the answers lie in quantom mechanics. it basicaly shows that there is an unexplained force creating string of energy but they cant figure out what because it slips in and out of physical existence.

so neither is right if take to an extreme with only a onesided view. it take a blance of both. there is more than what we perceive and more than the human mind can even begin to understand

I was contemplating taking the african american ancestry dna test and I was wondering if it was a valid way to trace your heritage. People are so crooked now a days and well....I just don't want to end up wasting $300 on bogus results. I really feel the need to know more about my ancestors and exactly where they originated. Please help, if you can. Thanks.
