for example an atheist nihilist vs. fundamentalist christian.

im not even going to explain how the christian is wrong its too long and too easy.

but the nihilist atheist is also wrong because its an extreme. and they beleive that ife has no meaning. yet for some unexplained reason we are all here, and so is everything else in the 3rd dimention. and they think they know everything, yet they have so many questions that cant be answered. and the answers lie in quantom mechanics. it basicaly shows that there is an unexplained force creating string of energy but they cant figure out what because it slips in and out of physical existence.

so neither is right if take to an extreme with only a onesided view. it take a blance of both. there is more than what we perceive and more than the human mind can even begin to understand

You'll have to define 'good' for us to answer.

No extreme is ever good. You must have a balance in everything in order for live to survive. If all the world was without violence, even though that would seem to be a good thing, life would be boring. The extreme ideas often die out, but those who seek a middle ground will flourish. We must constantly seek an extreme, but yet, we must also make sure that no extreme is ever reached. Without one thing, you can not have another. Therefore, without something like, say, a dictatorship to fear, no one would find need for a democracy. People need examples of the bad, in order to have the good. Not everything is black and white, nor should it be. You need the colors in between in order to paint a masterpiece. You can look at this in Mathematical terms. You have a statement/idea and you have the converse or opposite of that idea. for example, a + b = c but c - a = b and c - b = a. So without the converse, in this case the nihilist, you cannot have the statement, or the Fundamentalist Christian.

So, in short, Balance is key to life and no extreme can possibly exist.

The only extreme that might have a beneficial outcome that i can come up with is being a health freak. It doesn't sound good at all but it can help you stay healthy and fit. Which could lead to a longer better life. Their are downsides like any extreme but I believe this is the "best" extreme.

Everything else the problems or possible things that could go wrong out way the benefits.

It depends. If one extreme is so extreme that they believe that only they are right and have prejudice against anyone with other beliefs then it is wrong. It certainly isn't healthy to feel for a certain extreme. But it isn't wrong unless it is hurting other people- like the KKK is one extreme, meanwhile the Civil Rights' Movement is another. KKK caused a lot of violence and heartache, though the CRM was sending proclamations for peace... You be the judge.

What would be more extremier than to be atheist, nihilist and fundamental christian? As long you like it then it is "good" for you. But good cannot exist without its opposite, and you are intitled to experience both, and be sure it will be extreme too.

If it turns out obsession, it will be out of control. If you consider extreme as obsession, it won't be good anymore.

It depends on your perception.
