I recently stumled upon a little book called "Peeps in Many Places" South America , and absolutely loved it. It is quite old (Published in 1915) but apparently there were alot of these books from places all around the world. What is the scoop on these books, who were they intended for and who published them?
I guess I just want to know the history of this series, the books are just beautiful.

Is it possible that you are thinking of the Peeps at Many Lands series? These were a series of small books intended for children. They came out in the early 1900s and tended to be short, but with good illustrations, usually 10-12 per book. They were published in London by Adam and Charles Black. As you are aware, there were a number of them covering places all over the world. You can find them for sale online by various antique book sellers. Sorry, can't tell you much more than that.
