I'm looking for a publishing company somewhere in the United States that either specializes in or has no problem with publishing under-age works such as books, stories, or poetry. I'm 16 and am just interested in what is out in the big world for me to expand my horizons and maybe publish some work. :)

im naturally pessimistic, and ive learned that pessimism, youre never dissapointed. it doesnt effect what happens, and you will either feel correct, or delighted that you were wrong.

think of it this way, would you rather wake up thinking it friday, but as it turns out, its thursday

or

wake up thinking its thursday, and its actually friday?

and you wake thinking its thursday, and it is thursday, what have you lost?

I vaguely recall a Hercule Poirot mystery where the "murderer" does not commit a single murder but he manipulates other people into committing murders. I believe Hastings' niece or some such relative also appears in it.

Anyone remember the title?

Thanks in advance!

I still can't decide which one will be best for me. I'm leaning toward the Nikon D80 over the Canon Rebel XTi but I don't want to end up making the wrong decision. I know a con for the Nikon is that there is no RAW conversion software included, but I will most likely be shooting in jpg-at least for awhile. I have heard that the Canon sometimes shuts off when in burst mode-I will be doing infant shoots so I don't want the camera to shut down when I'm firing away trying to capture the shot. If you own either of these could you please give me your opinion-
quality of photos
battery life
ease of use
problems with memory cards (sd vs cf)
is the dust reduction in the Canon a true deciding factor
which brand is easier to upgrade with
what is your lens of choice

I know most will say it's a personal choice and it depends on which feels more comfortable in your hand, but I would like to get as many opinions as possible to try to help me decide.

Thanks in advance.

I am an amateur photographer and find it impossible to get the attention of young children whilst trying to take a photo. I think this is an amazing talent. It requires the ability to captivate their attention whilst also getting the them to smile and having the precise timing to capture "the moment".

Tips are welcome. All the portrait types that i have tried end up with the children distracted and looking "off shot". Do i have to wear some silly costume with bells and whistles just to get them to look. Magicians answers welcome

On the begining when Beatrice and Benedick are arguing they used several metaphors and in the end she says to him "You always end with a jade's trick. I know you of old"
Can you explain to me what she means by that.
And how does Shakespeare use metaphors to contribute to the characterization of these two?

Because of my age and geographic location, I have not seen as much as others. But for me it was the annular solar eclipse of 1994. Not quite as visually awe inspiring as a total, but I guess even more rare. The last total in our region was 1979 (heavy clouds, we saw almost nothing), and not due again here until 2017. So we thought we better get a look. We used carbizole welders lenses. 1 would work, but we took no chances and layered 1 over another. We saw it from start to end. At its peak you saw the entire moon inside the sun. A fire eyeball with natures biggest pupil. At least through our lenses anyway. It was just past noon that day, it looked about a hour before sunset at it's peak. Pretty darn impressive.
