Probably the first option as it is more important for me to be at peace with myself than at peace with others based on a lie.

I would rather be correct and have no one know it. This way no one knows whether I am smart or stupid, and they frankly have no way to determine. Conversely, if I choose to be wrong and have people think that I am correct, I am running the risk of some of them eventually finding out that I want wrong and thus unintelligent.

If your purpose for living is to be known by others, then I suppose the lie works best for you.
I would rather be accurate in what I believe because truth, to me, is more important than being known.

I think I would rather be right and no one know it, because being wrong and everyone thinking you're right could lead someone to get him/herself in some awful jam unnecessarily, thinking they had been given sound advice. Oh, that could be terrible.

Well, if my parents were answering this for me, they'd say I'd want to be right but let everyone know it. However, because I'm answering I'd say I'd like to be right and keep it to myself. Especially in certain situations- when you know it'd be wrong to say that famous, cliche line: I told you so!

Actually alot of people do that, dont they, you find out trivia or knowledge from learning and until someone asks you, arent you keeping it secret??

i'd much rather be correct and have no one know. unless it means i'll get killed for it or something, in which case it better be something very important and not just 'who stole my sock?'.
