It starts out "I'm writing a poem without any rhymes,
I've had to redo it just millions of ....goes," the basic idea being that there is an obvious rhyme but it is never used. I have only heard it on a roy bailey cd which I have lost and my son needs to learn a poem to recite at school and I thought this would be nice. any help much appreciated

West Virginia and Oklahoma have jutting panhandles that don't make sense in a rational world of boundary setting. The Civil War must had something to do with West Virginia's eastern protusion, the one in the northern part of the State seems absurd. Meanwhile, Oklahoma's panhandle totally baffles me. Any insights on how these came into being?

I have been intrested in photography for awhile. I currently have a Minolta x-700 35mm film camera and a Fuji FinePix digital camera. Most of the pictures that I take are with the Minolta. I've been thinking about getting a digital SLR, but not quite sure what to get. I was wondering if anyone out there might have some advice on the advantages/disadvantages of digital SLR to a regular film SLR.

I would also like if you could give me some insight of which digital SLR you would recommed, that would be great. I mostly take landscape/outdoor pictures (main focus is trains). I'm looking for a camera that isn't all that expensive (I know that's hard to find with digital SLRs). Do you think that the price of the digial SLR will decrease at all over the next year or so.

I would like to start selling my pictures and any answers to these questions would help out a great deal.

Thank you.

I am a teacher and am required to teach this in Massachusetts. It's interesting stuff, but I can't find the information online. I think I need the expertise of someone who knows their European history. I know that at the time, in America, white, male, Protestand property owners could vote, and that the religion and property requirements disappeared over the coming years. But who could vote in England, France, and Russia? Thanks!

I read an article in a women's magazine a couple of months ago, but I don't remember which magazine it was - could've been Elle, Vanity Fair, or any other one.

The book is a non-fiction, autobiographical account written by an immigrant woman living in Paris. I'm not sure if she's Morroccan or Lebanese or something like that. It talks about the way these people are ostracized in their own country etc. I think the French title had something like "Lune" or "Nuit" in it.

Has anyone read this book or this review? Or something that sounds vaguely familiar? Any information would be great!

Just looking for something fresh to read. I read just about anything from fiction to nonfiction but, prefer material within the last half century.

I once read a poem in my British Lit class, and the author said, basically, that death isn't so horrible because you get to join all the great men before you. Can anyone tell me what this poem is called an who is the author? Thanks!

Well, the man was unstoppable. HE used Light Cavalry only consisting of horse archers and lancers. In Europe, cavalry were defeated by heavy infantry. But why could no one defeat the Khan? Why couldn't anyone adapt to his Tactics? Can you suggest some ways by which he could've been defeated?
