I read an article in a women's magazine a couple of months ago, but I don't remember which magazine it was - could've been Elle, Vanity Fair, or any other one.

The book is a non-fiction, autobiographical account written by an immigrant woman living in Paris. I'm not sure if she's Morroccan or Lebanese or something like that. It talks about the way these people are ostracized in their own country etc. I think the French title had something like "Lune" or "Nuit" in it.

Has anyone read this book or this review? Or something that sounds vaguely familiar? Any information would be great!

Like the prior post, I'm sorry I can't help. My search tips would be to start with the magazine web sites for Elle, Vanity Fair, or other likely candidates, and use their archive search functions. Just for the heck of it, I tried amazon.com using "nuit" for a search term under biographies and memoirs -- waaaay too many choices without further input! Of course, that would be a place to go if you could think or more of the title. Good luck!
