Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, So that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one, which has been opened for us..
Its true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.. Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you BACK! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart, but if it doesn't be content it grew in yours.. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone,an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks, they can deceive, don't go for wealth, even that fades away

Once you come to understand something... A philosophy, an idea, a rule or even just a clever axiom or life lesson. Do you feel that because you suffered over it, and know it well enough, that gives you the right to break it?

and if others around you are not as aware or have not done the work toward understanding it, does that mean they do not have the right to break said rule or philosophy axiom or clever life lesson if they do not first understand it or have suffered to know it?

Just something I was wondering loosely based on the premise behind the large yellow bead at the end of a strand of prayer beads. When the strand breaks... The lesson is learned.

Get it?

I got extra soft, soft, medium, and hard. I've done few charcoal arts and have huge success with soft. I decide to try out other hardness. I'm think about using hard charcoal for background and light shadow and start outline. Softer one for final outline, dark shadow, etc...

Would this be a good or bad idea?

I have visited sites and I still can't write free verse poetry. It's not helping me; I know I have to rhyme, but just giving me examples won't help me. Can someone give me some tips on how to write free verse poetry-I'm supposed to be writing about a life story.

i love to write and i have started my own story. this is a fantasy story that will involve dragons and a war between two races. can u give suggestions for names? also what do u think of this start?:

A boy yelled out in pain. A bigger, older man held a whip. “You’ll be punished for not obeying me, boy!”
The boy started sobbing. “I’m sorry, father! Please don’t hurt me! I won’t do it again I promise!”
The man sneered. “You better not, boy! Have you learned your lesson?”
The boy nodded. “Yes, father.”
“Good.” The man lashed the boy one last time before spitting on him. He walked out of the room.
The boy sobbed and curled into a ball. It was like this too often. His father hated him for a reason the boy could not completely understand. His mother had died when he was young. His guess was that his father blamed him for her death. He did not know if that was the true reason though. His father took out his anger and resentment for him every night on him for the littlest reasons.

About ten years ago, I owned a paperback book that was a collection of short stories and excerpts from novels, all by different authors, all about unicorns. I'm trying to find it, but I don't know the title or editor.

One of the stories was set in a sort of zoo-world, where mythical creatures had been genetically created to (sexually and otherwise) entertain paying vistors. At one point there was a foursome involving two centaurs, a nymph, and a satyr. (So this wasn't a kid's book, obviously.)

Another of the stories was about a Hispanic woman (named Rosa, perhaps?) who was chosen by a unicorn that looked like a donkey to the other villagers.

Another of the stories had a little girl (and maybe a boy) meeting a unicorn in the woods. They called it a "hart," and that might be in the title of the short story.

The cover of the book had a unicorn looking into a pool or lying down, and the trees had droopy branches covered with flowers.

The book isn't "The Unicorn Treasury."

I want to buy either a new or used super 8 camera. I am interested in purchasing it at a store if I can help it, and not online. I live in Mass. Does anyone know any stores or flea markets...ANYWHERE specific...where I can find one?

I was also hoping for some brand suggestions..it can range from inexpensive (cheap) to the expensive. I am really interested in using these to film home movies...or maybe produce an independent.

I also like the idea of learning about the mechanics of a machine and having good photo technique. I want a quality Super 8 that will last me a lifetime if possible. Thanks in advance!
