Sheesh, I see that this question has been a repeated one, but I'd like to see opinions for myself. Personally I think he SHOULD die! That would be a fabulous ending. I know it's gonna be sad and upsetting and all, but you can't always let the hero win! That's simply a cliched storyline.

Cortez led a group of men to Mexico in search of gold, where he found the Aztecs. At this point in time the Aztecs ruled most of Mexico. The leader of the Aztecs, Moctezuma, thought Cortez was the corn god and politely invited him and his men into the Aztec’s city, Tenochtitlan. Cortez fought an killed many Aztecs. Moctazuma was killed shortly after. Cortez then managed to concur the Aztecs and their city. People in modern day Mexico mostly speak Spanish because of Cortez and his men.

It seems...that poetry was quoted more in the times of Jane Austen, than today. Do you believe it is a lost art? Do we study poets and their poetry today as much as they did in the past?

Is the reason why because we have way too much now...in the form of tv,radio, movies, recordings....and all they had back then were books?

I write poetry... And the poems I write are depressing. My life isn't sad or depressing or anything but what I write is just what comes out. My friend hates my poetry and tells my it's stupid and too depressing and then gets all suspicious. I hear it somewhat normal for teens to write poetry like mine but my friend doesn't agree.

A short survey indicated it is a poorly covered topic of American History.
