I have adobe photoshop elements 3.0 and I need to edit a picture to blank out the background and make it completely white. I've seen this done on other people's photos. How do they do this?

Is For One More Day based on a true story? It says something about a true story in the novel, however, when researching Chick Benetto, I never find anything except stuff on the book. I haven't finished the book yet, so it might explain later, but I was just curious.

Who created the universe and why would they do it. Please don't give me scientific stuff, I do not believe any scientific thing because at the beginning the beginning of evolution, the big bang or whatever there had to be something that was created by someone to spark what happened from then.

I often wonder why we are here, there all tons of answers people will tell you based on their religious preference, but i wonder Why are we here, why do we live a purposeless life. We were somehow put upon this planet but for what? If your lucky you will get a well paying job and have a nice family, that doesn't matter in the greater scheme after your dead does the universe change, did you have an effect upon the universe? Personally unless you are one who can find the answers as to why we are here and what our purpose is then your life meant nothing. It seems that the one who created the planet, and the entire universe is doing it to play a game to watch us live boring, pointless, repetitive lives; just to die and watch it start over in a new person. Can anyone help me understand why we are even here, we could all die right now and what would happen?

Does anyone else think that many ancient Greek writers were racist, arrogant and blatantly self-serving? They refferred to nearly everyone who wasn't Greek as a Barabarian, including the Macedonians (Alexander the Great's people) and the Romans. Common sense proves that the number of people involved in most Greek battles are always disturbingly exxagerated to have a tiny Greek force against hundreds of thousands and sometimes over a million adversaries. (rougly 1/10 of the world according some historians)

I am looking for a publisher for my book, Crank High, and am get a few, but most cost a lot of money. I want a pulisher who will pay me, not have me pay them. My book is 40, 623 words in lenght and I have had nothing but praise from those who read it and don't or do know me! Most people accept my work, but others won't because of my age, which is 15.
My friends think I should get my book published, but I just need to find a publisher. Does anyone out there know a good publisher who would mind at least giving me their honest opinion of my book.

Okay- well, I am going to write a story about 4 bros, and 1 girl (4 fun) And, the girl get seperated from the bros, sent to an orphanage, and after about 10 years get reunited. The girl is a brat, she has no respect for anyone.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions of anything she could do, to be disrespectful, disobey, ect.
What some problems they could run into, and some a state where they could live in, and a real name of an orphanage- in some state. Thanks.
