I only know this because I am a nerd, but if you go to historychanel.com and click on the 'interesting things that happen on your birthday' thingie mabobber, you should come up with some good stuff.

At http://www.historychannel.com/tdih.do you can enter a day and it will tell you what was happening. Also, if you trust Wikipedia you could just type in your birthday minus the year and it'll show you lots of stuff. Hope these help.
