I guess a good way of looking at it is, what has been designed so well that it hasn't needed to evolve or improve...
1. Beer — 9,000 years old!
2. the black suit — last 100 years
3. hardcover books — look great, feel great, last forever
4. blue jeans 200 yrs old.
Not sure if you meant to go that far back... everything modern can be improved aesthetically, functionally, ergonomically,... etc. The best design is simple, functional, looks timeless and lasts.

Well, dishwashers are pretty awesome. No work involved. Just toss those dirty dishes in and wait.
An electric back massager that fits the recliner. Takes the knots out after working long hours.
The garage door opener. Until you live without one, it's never appreciated enough.
The newer cells phone that follow voice direction. How cool is that?

India had a near perfect match after Australia's first innings batting,i thought it was good first innings from Aussies but India scored so fast thanks to Dhawan and co and Australia's second innings capitulation that happened so quickly on the last day cannot be explained even by Ian Chappell.Batting for India clicked so well in this series,they had a near perfect match.Australia should've drawn this match but they ended up losing on the last day thanks to some poor batting in second innings.
