By Happy I assume you mean complete fulfillment, serene Peace, neverending Joy- the whole package, right?
I believe even if you were to buy your favorite car that you worked for by yourself.. you would be the same as before. I mean yes, the whole driving the car and getting looks from strangers as if to say, man! I wish I had THAT car.. is pretty cool. But even after that I know (because I'm human too) that you would be the same as before.. not TRULY happy, or fulfilled..but! the agonizing question is, what IS it that I need? Or what is it thats missing in my life?? Can "I" work for it? On my own can I find this somewhere? The answer is, the solution finds you. You can except Him..or be forever fearful of ever letting some THING, or someone take over and do all of the work and GIVE you that completness..that not even a new car can even come close to giving you. But, no money required- simply say yes Jesus, I except your sacrifice for me, I know I need you because I wont be fulfilled EVER on this earth, if I don't let go of MY will (which is making me unhappy-and unfulfilling anyway)... I know there is NOTHING I have to do but believe. And I believe that without your taking my place in suffering 2,000 years ago, I would with no doubt live in hell for eternity. I know you're the answer- forgive me God, in Jesus' name, and I cant wait to live, to TRULY live!!
And get ready for the BESTand MOST overwhelming Peace you've never known! All promises of God come with his exceptance!! And God doesn't break promises- He is bound by his word, because of what Jesus did.
if you have ANY questions, or are scared, or are still confused, I will be glad to talk to you, just e-mail me!
God Bless You Friend!!!

Buy a car if you need one, don't buy one to make you happy. The key is to love yourself & then material things won't matter, though they may "enhance" your life they won't define it. Save your money for a car & a house but enjoy life in the meantime. All work & no play will make you unhappy. You should be proud to be 27 & successful. Many people much older are not. You've got a good head on your shoulders so keep up the good work! Just don't forget to have fun too in the meantime!

A house is a much better investment than a car which will be worth nothing in a few years. I am old enough to be your grandfather, and I can tell you that there is little happiness in material things. If you are just looking to spend money to make yourself happy, take the value of the car and give the money to an orphanage. You will not only make yourself happy, but a lot of other kids who have very little happiness.

Cars are depreciable items, so you are, in effect, throwing your money away for a small amount of pleasure. The happiness that things bring wears off fast.
This doesn't mean you should do nothing. Find some sort of hobby that stretches you mentally, and/or physically and give yourself to that--something that is really challenging--it could be martial arts, racquet ball, historical recreations, learning to climb and rappel, taking flying lessons. Think outside the box and give yourself something that has the potential to give back to you for many years in ways a new car never can (unless you plan on being a professional driver).

I'm in your same age bracket and I say...neither, IF your buying them for self-fulfillment reasons. The problem with tying happiness to material goods is that happiness in ourselves tends to depreciate along with the item. For instance, a car's value will go down with time right? What if we see a car or house that is better than the one we've invested our happiness in. Deep down, there is a chance for our own self worth to take a nose dive because we feel somehow inadequate.
However, if you reevaluate yourself and find that you don't need these things to be happy, then buy the house.
Hope this helps

Well, you should buy the car only if you really, really want to. I would keep saving up for the house if I were you because then you'd have so start from scratch to save for your house. With the money you saved for the car, you could put a down payment on a house, if you'd like. :)

No.
Open a brokerage account and put your money into a mutual fund that you think will give you an 11% return for the upcoming year. It could be a good place to keep your money while waiting for the price of houses to be, um, more within your reach.

i say buy a vw van and live in that or an rv and live in that as well since, as you said, house prices are climbing with a "good" neighborhood is becoming factory made--house and persons. and since prices for those neighborhoods a ridiculously high, now at least, compared to say 3 or 4 years ago. thought it's 3 or 4 years, it shouldn't jump as high as it did, unless something is wrong i.e. someone trying to make big on a scam like selling a house for triple what it cost to make.

properly, i imagine Montoya, Menard and Allmendinger are all gonna finally end up close to the front interior the Showdown, with Montoya getting the perfect end. as far because the fan vote... i imagine both Edwards or Truex Jr. will win it. Who wins the Allstar race? i imagine it will be Jeff Gordon. I hate to assert it, yet Mears will probably end close to the lower back. Taking Vickers spot is gonna take your time to regulate. I have a lot of appreciate for Mears, and that i undergo in concepts he were given his first occupation victory on the music they are going to be at tonight.. Lowe's! So, it really is how i imagine it is going to all play out. wish i have helped!
