One night I was leaving my GF's house at night down the street & I get half way down the block I see a car pull up at her house ,so I walk back to her house to see what was going on & as soon as I get near her the car pulls off I didn't see who it was so I asked my GF & said it was a considered friend(joking about her watching me walk home)so my GF walks back up to my house with me because she feels that he & the people in the car might try something so Im thinking we were cool at the time since me & the boy never had any problems ,so we get up to my house and the car comes back around the corner & the boy & 3 other guys hop out the car so I turn around to see what the problem was,(even with my GF pulling me telling me to keep walking)& end up fighting & getting a minor concussion barely remembering what happen after they got out the car,was he jealous or something. should I kept walking when I saw the car or when my GF was pulling, or get revenge by any means? Or other options? Thanks

During the ColdWar. Supposedly, the Russians met with the American president. Im not sure if it was Johnisn or Eisenhower. But, they gave him a gift. It was just a metallic rod sculpture. It was for his office at the White House. So, he had it in his office for 5 years. Until, one of the White house staff asked about the object. He asked the president if he knew what was inside it ?
So, they took it appart and found a microphone and a radio transmitter spy set up in it. Did this really happen ?

This one is for all of the audiophiles out there. What is the purpose of processors that produce speaker delays? Why would you want to purposely delay a signal? Is this for when multiple speaker clusters are used away from center stage and the delay is inserted to compensate for the inevitable doppler effect? If so, how? I'm kinda curious.....

Premise 1: We as humans cannot prove beyond doubt that god does or does not exist.

Premise 2: If god exists, it is perfect (because that is what defines it as god and makes it worth worshipping).

Premise 3: It must be true that only god is perfect, because if anything else were perfect, it'd be equal to god, and then god would have no real value.

Conclusion: It does not make sense to follow religion because what we'd learn and how we'd learn it is fundamentally flawed, supposing that god even exists.

So, what are your thoughts on the matter? I'd be very interested to hear what you have to say, provided that it's intelligent.

It is no secret that science and faith do not always agree, it is also no secret that their are those on both sides of who hate the other for one reason or the other, and then there are those stranded in the middle.

My question is from a philisophical standpoint can science and faith be reconsiled with each other when they do not agree?

I take as example only the debate of evolution, those who belive in creation (from the extreme) believe that this theory is the work of the devil. While on the other hand those who believe in evolution (from the extreme) believe that those who believe in creation are mindless idiots who have been brain wahsed by religion.

Can both sides be reconcilied, or they doomed to fight forever more? Please explain your answers. I thank you in advance for your insight.

How much it typically costs (I am in the DC area, but anywhere's estimate is fine)? What to expect? How many pictures do they take of you? How do they determine poses? What agents are looking for and any other pearls of wisdom that you may give to a beginner, please share!
