Hmmm....I'd say put yourself out....if you can...but on the off-chance you can't, cuz we all know how hard it is to try to put ourselves out, I'd suggest enjoying the moment while it lasts. Maybe you could make yourself useful for the moment. Start a fire in the fireplace, warm up some leftovers, provide much needed warmth to the homeless on a cold night. That last one might take a bit of planning. I wonder if you might time your combustion. You know, like anticipate it so that you're where your combustion would be most beneficial. I guess you couldn't call it "spontaneous" then. I'm sure there are lots of useful things to do while your going up in flames. Best of luck!

Spontaneous combustion is a complete myth. There was a full study done on this, and the conclusion was that reports of spontaneous combustion can be accounted for by the "wick effect." The wick effect takes place when a body is wrapped in a garment that catches fire, channeling a heat that can melt bone. The experiment for this study was a pig in a blanket, oddly enough. The pig was reduced to ashes when the blanket was just sparked.
I don't remember who conducted this study (at least 6 or 7 years ago), nor do I remember whether only certain materials are conducive to the wick effect.

Spontaneously combustion means that a part of the body (or the whole body) burns with fire.
Not many confirmed cases, but some the alleged ones resulted with completely burned people.

Scream and run around. After catching on fire, of course.
