Science and faith(religion) always reconcile.
The problem is people dont want to. Every single faith can be scientificaly proved. For example if christianity says god has no characteristics or shape, its true scientifically because if god had characteristics or shape it is bound to destroy but actualy it dosnt.
So what we need to do is to find out logical reason and science, hidden behind our faith. There should be emotion based reasons and reason based religion.
I hope you got my point.

Alright lets see if I can't enlighten you here. Sience and faith should be reconciled. For one thing evolution is not a proven theory. It is just a educated guess. To say the we don't evolve is crazy. If we didn't then we would still be cavemen wandering around hunting. The same goes for religion. It is not a proven way. There are no clear cut signs. If there was no mystery in the world than what would be the point of life. It all boils down to faith vs imagination. I am not a religious person becuase there are to many questions and not near enough answers for me to believe blindly. Evolution, the big bang, and the present are a whole lot easier to believe because there are more facts than just what people 2000 years ago said happened. Or what a bunch of people during the roman rule created and wrote to help with the splitting of an empire thus, the bible. So, the choice is yours but to disclaim their other is ignorance because neither are cut and dry true.

Will faith and science ever agree to disagree? Probably not but i do think that we are getting more at peace with each other at the dinner table. Kindof like which came first the chicken or the egg. Well any scientist will say the chicken crawled up from the depths of the sea as a beast and gave birth to the egg. Any religious perspective says that on the fifth day God created the birds of the air ect.. so obviously the bird came first. Perspective is the key to enrichment of the human race. I personally believe in a higher power guiding us from afar but i also believe he created all the scientists and their knowledge as well. I also believe that we will know all we need to know as we are ready to accept it. I guess there are many reasons why cavemen didnt discover that cotton makes great toilet paper or that pigment 5 can really color one awesome cup of koolaide. They didnt have any use for this knowledge or really care to even think that far. What they did need was the knowledge to stay alive and to survive. Thus came fire , knives, salt and so on. I do think it is awesome that several religions and beliefs follow the same story lines and basis for their worship. Weither this be the worship of gods, men or animals. I pray for knowledge and wisdom because there sure is a difference in both. If we can figure out how to intertwine the two loves of man, science and god, then we cannot fail as either humans or as men of faith.

you're treating it as technology and faith are collectively unique. Many Christians like myself don't have any difficulty with a huge bang, or God operating in an evolutionary procedure. Day is used figuratively for a era of time in a large number of scriptures, and the day/age theory of the introduction believes there will be thousands and thousands to billions of years between the days of the introduction. The order for the introduction parallels the same order technology provides. First comes the heavens (stars, etc.), then an empty earth without type, then land said by technique of oceans, then plant existence said by technique of the first sensible existence interior the sea, then comes birds (which in accordance to technology are descendants of dinosaurs), then mammals, then a extra certain wild animal, and finally guy. that is actual fantastic that it provides an order 3,000 plus years earlier technology confirms that similar order. Adam isn't created until eventually after the seventh day, and the day/age theory believes the guy created on the sixth day isn't the same as Adam who's first said after the seventh day. Many Christians are stuck in centuries previous previous traditions. yet not all Christians view technology because the enemy of the religion, and also you may not right now away view the religion is adverse to clinical discovery.

Faith is all that it means. Look it up in the dictionary, its likely that you'll see a picture of a religious person next to it. When you have faith in something, you do not have an understanding as to how it works. You beleive that it will be so, but you cannot make it definately so. Such is faith.
Science on the other hand is a method of discovery and proof, that can be applied to make things work. Religious people cannot proove that their god exists. They beleive that he does but they have never seen him. Science does not have casts such as these. If it cannot be proven, it is not scientific.
My recently realistic experience has led me to beleive that religion is thought and beleived in, much in the way that a book is read and thought to be true. For instance, religious texts describe the world as a fantasy, not unlike a science fiction novel. I would propose that to proove that religion is thought and beleived in as baseless, a book, such as Hyperion by Dan Simmons should be read and believed in. The Shrike should be a god, and temples built for him. Pray and worship, till he comes from a far away future to cleanse the world.
Now, we know that Dan Simmons wrote it as a tale and not based as a religion. However, how is it different from religious texts. What are these texts based on? Do you know? Or do you beleive? These texts could be entirely based on an account of a science fiction. Realisticly, I could believe that Dan Simmons is a Prophet, and Hyperion is a Religion. Know what I'm sayin'?

Maybe they could be reconciled? There are always ways, but people always find ways not to accept the fact that Science and Faith cannot be reconciled with each other by contradicting each other. Well heres my reconciled theory... Lol... Maybe GOD really made the world/universe in 7 days (Faith) and after all those stuff, GOD rested and left things for awhile. This is where Evolution goes in (Science), where-in animals and other living creatures that GOD made tried to adapt to their new environments, and slowly evolved to fit their Environment. Well, thats my reconciled theory... XD

Science and religion will reconcile when BOTH sides finally realize that the belief of scientists in unproven theories is the same "faith" that the religious have in their various gods. It is really that simple. Once they understnad THAT, the idea that they are both trying to do the same thing will just fall into place and the tow will finally be able to fill in the missing bits with the information and knowledge of the other.

I think God and evolution can coincide... why don't evolutionists believe that God could've sparked the beginning of the chain of events that has lead to now? Who cares if we evolved or not... We're here now. I think someday if science studies energy in the natural world long enough they would end up on their knees praying for forgiveness.

"a person who says that he knows everything is stupid at the moment he proclaim that."
well, what im saying is that human should not be to arrogant with their intelectual capabilities or abilities. in my oppinion, when science goes against faith, it shows that human are being GOD, that is we are denying GOd's power..
for me, through science, we may know more about God's power cuz we learn throughout our live. there's millions more things in this world that even the genius dont know and God is guiding us to discover all of these things.
unfortunately, some people doesnt believe in God n they claim that things happen is because it just happen. when human becomes humble n have faith in religion, then science n faith can be reconciled-worldwide!

There is an unbalance to your statement. A vast majority of scientists accept evolution. Only a few religious groups reject it outright. On the other hand, there is nothing in evolution that disproves God -- only the literal reading of Genesis.
