That bothersome king of Walllachia who was once in Mehmet's court as a prisioner... went by the name Vlad "Tepes" Dracula a.k.a. Vlad the Impaler.

Great stories about this character, like sending the cut-off ears of the ottoman punitive force sent against him back to the Sultan; nailing a nobleman's hat into his skull after said fool failed to take it off; having breakfast in front of a entire village who was impaled for his delight; impaling family, friends and associates of all noblemen who participated in his father's death, no matter age or gender, etc.

Vlad went down with style fighting everybody, but specially the turks.
