It'd be really cool if it was in Montreal too or anything... i have a hard time finding interesting websites that you can look at and see different work.
Or even if any of you are from Montreal, do you know of any art displays like this? I know my questions kinda broad.. but hopefully you can help.

i'm presenting an interactive seminar based on my article abt parental overprotection. anyone have any ideas on how to make it interesting....skits, costumes, songs, anything???
haha, i was planning on doing something involving heavyweight armour (to show that although it's there to protect you, it can actually weigh you down). much thanks in advance!

in this poem :

As I Grew Older
It was a long time ago.
I have almost forgotten my dream.
But it was there then,
In front of me,
Bright like a sun--
My dream.
And then the wall rose,
Rose slowly,
Slowly,
Between me and my dream.
Rose until it touched the sky--
The wall.
Shadow.
I am black.
I lie down in the shadow.
No longer the light of my dream before me,
Above me.
Only the thick wall.
Only the shadow.
My hands!
My dark hands!
Break through the wall!
Find my dream!
Help me to shatter this darkness,
To smash this night,
To break this shadow
Into a thousand lights of sun,
Into a thousand whirling dreams
Of sun!

I'll admit I like a few esspecially Wicked, but I am not gay. I have noticed in movies and stuff that people who like musicals are pointed out as being gay. Do you think it is gay for me to like that kind of stuff because I am not. I am afraid people will think I am just because I like a few musicals. But I feel that I am free to like what I want to like.

Beautiful

Though my body will die eventually
It is sacred;It is special
Those that I choose to share myself with admire me also.
I've always known gods love;
He is forgiving and will never forsake me
I may not be perfect but my imperfections define who I am
You have hurt me;abused me;molested me
But I have risen above you and your perversion
My life has meaning; my soul is immortal
I am myself
I am beautiful

The redhead is sitting in the center of a room with two open books, one featuring a drawing of a statue's head with leaves as hair, resembling the girl. A large version of this statue head is in the hallway to the left with a window looking out on an urban setting with half its face blocked by a fireplace. Fire has escaped and are buring books next to the two the girl is reading. The hallway to the right is being flooded with water from an ocean carrying a large ship in the distance. On the right side of the painting is a bookcase covering the wall, containing many books, three of which have visible titles ("Decameron", "Symboles" and "L'Habit De Cheval"). On the left another version of the girl is standing with her hands behind her back looking in the direction of ice in the form of very small mountains turning into rocks (in the room), with water flowing into the room and a large balloon carrying plants in the distance. On the exteme left, inside the room is a large bare tree.

The Actor's Garage builds a child's self-esteem, while providing acting skills. We are just beginning in Southern California and are looking to get our name out there in the most cost effective manner. My partner and I are both school teachers, hoping to inspire the kids we teach to come out of their shells while having a great deal of fun. If interested, call us 818 501-1389!!!
