The Actor's Garage builds a child's self-esteem, while providing acting skills. We are just beginning in Southern California and are looking to get our name out there in the most cost effective manner. My partner and I are both school teachers, hoping to inspire the kids we teach to come out of their shells while having a great deal of fun. If interested, call us 818 501-1389!!! See our founder's web page in New York at www.theactorsgarage.com

From one theatre teacher to another--welcome! What a great idea. Hope your company does smashingly.

Some ideas:
-start with your teacher contacts--have them send fliers home with their students
-offer a low-cost kids' theatre camp this summer; call your local alternative newspaper and ask for whatever coverage they can give you--pictures of cute kids in costumes are a winner for them, too
-do you belong to a local teachers' union or theatre teacher organization? (or a national one for that matter?--www.aate.com or www.edta.org?) Post this message on their boards and ask for suggestions.
-Are you affiliated with a park district? That's a GREAT way to get kids, particularly ones who might not otherwise be drawn to your marketing.
-Parents of homeschooled kids are often interested in this sort of thing--call any local homeschools, ask tutoring places like Sylvan, Huntington, etc, if you can put up fliers and leave your business cards

Best of luck to you both!

Get some ah-mazing pictures of you and tape them to your bathroom mirror, a journal, by your bed, somewhere where you look everyday. Dress in cute clothes that you like and are comfortable in, and work out to have a hot body when you're older lol. I was totally insecure when I was your age (this was only a few years ago though lol) and now i'm a lot more confident about the way I look. Guys don't like girls just for their looks, that's what usually gets a girl noticed. Their personality is all that matters. I have so many guy friends who like their girlfriends because they are funny and nice, not because of the way they look. If you want to look pretty really badly, then wear some makeup (I don't know if you do, but it looks like you don't from your myspace picture). A little mascara and lip gloss can go a long way :) Just keep your head high and don't worry about what other people think, because it always comes down to personality. Hope this helps you!!

Well if you are looking for free of cheap advertisement I suggest you look for websites that are popular or that many go to, you can ask the webmaster if they could post your banner or advertisement up.

Another good advertisement would be setting up a website if you do not want to put your advertisement banner on another person's website. You could start a MySpace, millions of people go on MySpace everyday and it is a great start.

Another idea would be to print out cards and hand them out or either put them on people's cars or drop them in people's mail-box. Another good use of the cards could be to give someone that is in the Actor's Garage program who is a teenager or younger, a package of 100-200 advertisement cards and ask them to pass it around their school. There are many young teens and tweens (younger teens) who really want to be an actor or actress, this idea about spreading these cards to schools is a great idea.

I hope these tips have helped.

If you need any help with advertisement I could be of some assistance, I know quite a few special ways of advertisement.
