So I've already asked the easiest way to research my genealogy and how to do a family tree... NOW i'm gonna go out on a limb and ask if anyone can help me specifically lol

i'm looking for information on a Kate (or Katherine) Harkness. She was born approx. 20 June 1853 and was married to a George Albert PRice who was born around 1852.

I know that they were both from Salisbury, Westmorland, New Brunswick.

thanks yall!

Does anyone remember a story about a King or Prince who was soliciting women from the United States to be a part of his high class brothel. He paid them high dollar amounts, $10-$20,000. She talked about how she was propositioned on an airplane by one of the "King's" officials. Also, they women were mainly for the "king's" use. She also mentioned that some of them never slept with the king. They were just locked up in a cottage until they were called on. Additionally, she talked about how she and some of the other were made to dress up when there were big party's and were not allowed to eat or mingle with the guests. They were just for display.

looking at this political map one can see the entire African continent isn't too concerned, the same with most of Europe and some parts of the USA. south america is a joke, while Canada and Australia both actually fully understand everything.

why deny such a thing? it just shows you are a callous nation full of corruption and human rights abuses.

My Selves

We’ll forget in time
the true deception
of appearance
when silver light dangled
under a secret sky.
Footprints of my former self
washed away
reflections of myself,
known only to myself.
Will I wake some morning
with the daylight of trust
filling til I feel fulfilled
with no mountains
mothering me in their breasts?
In a dream,
I’d awaken with poetry
pouring out of my pores
and never ask for more.
In this reality,
the rain of truth
makes my face cold
and a thousand lovers
cannot warm me.
I trace the difference
between trust and truth.
From the unborn pink sky,
sun slips away
into my eyes.
Misleading weather
turns to deliver tears,
mourning moments
murdered by caution.
For conscious thought cannot
coexist with emotion.
Only the strongest strands
strung together
stay to become our strength.

Hi,
I am working on a project for school that has to do with the book "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. One of my tasks is the find how the word "Newspeak" connects with the story. I've looked through the book many times, but I still have not found specific examples. I really appreciate anyone helping me out!

Thanks a lot!

4. An Invention

And so on...

Beautiful Blurs

Beautifully tainted
trance of transition
back and forth
of my identical identities.
A lover’s lack
of sexuality,
instinct stolen by time.
Dying poets possess
no potential to progress
into former flames
or fireflies.
Trusted trysts
never to actualize,
only in suspicion
til I apologize
and crucify dreams.
I cannot dress
my sin in confession
and the question
of who deserves
my reborn innocence.
Blurred by words
of not knowing
what we feel
or who to be.
