First and foremost , donot worry about the world and its suffering. Are you suffering? You try to get out of it. If you think that you can be successful in getting out of your suffering then you will know there is a way. But if you cannot what is the point is worrying about the world?

Do not blame the world for your suffering. They are what they are .It is by imagining that we are born here to solve other people`s suffering that we are making the mistake. Has America solved the suffering of Iraq by invading it? SriLanka , somalia, Afganisthan..... the list is long.

It is in the nature of things that events unfold. Good things happen. Tseunami hits . Children are born with Downs syndrome. Children with unusual talents are born. Great masters like Jesus, Buddha, Krishna , Gandhi , Mandela are born. Hitlers are present too.

I know I'm going to sound morbid, but the only way to end world suffering is to end every life. We are human and will suffer as a whole till the end because of it. On the brighter side, we can, as individuals, do what ever we can to ease even one person's suffering by helping them. (no, not ending their life - for any goofy person reading this). It may be small things, but isn't there a saying "It's the small things in life that matter." ?

I think that education is the key. It always seems to come back to that. That will solve the big problems that you are refering too. Although I think that we will always have a little suffering in the real world, when a lover breaks our heart, when a loved one dies etc. Unless of course we all live in our own deluded virtual reality worlds where we never suffer because everyone would do as we want.

impossible, the human condition
of value has two sides, radical evil
and criminal evil, radical evil needs
to reduce the population of the world
while criminal evil rest on self-serving
and egotistical dogmas, the reason we
still have suffering is because there is
no TRUE WILL to want to do so within
the masses of the world, the paradox
lay in ethical demand of either eradicating
suffering or eradicating the populace,
so for one to want to end suffering one
needs the world behind you,
not organizations who shift the money
needed else where and little is truly
accomplished in the support of ending
suffering as we know it.

Sadly, we cannot and never will be able to.

But...stop paying athletes and celebs millions of dollars for nothing. Use the money for the better of society, not just entertainment. Meet with the Peace Corps an other international organizations to come up with feasible solutions. Minds and money have to get together. And keep religion out of the picture. This is one of the greatest divides they will have to deal with.

just do nice things for people. Kind of like "paying it forward". I really do think that would work, if everyone made it a point to not let it stop, it would eventually touch the lives of everyone on the planet, probably.
