yes when I had a very severe brain operation several years ago the Doctors had to work on me quite a long time to get me breathing again.

I actually did die once, but it wasn't much of an experience. I was over-anesthetized and just went kaput. I was resuscitated and came to a few minutes later, but I didn't have any epiphanies. Just a general sense of "Why is there a tube in my throat?"
Sorry it wasn't grander, but it is what it is. Surely you can find people who think that they saw a savior of some type, pretty white lights, and a non-stop supply of chocolate bars, but really....
