No. Absolute darkness is the absence of all light. We cannot see in absolute darkness.

Which darkness? In both cases darkness is the absence of light -one in the physical sense and the other in the spiritual sense. One can not see darkness in the physical but one can sense darkness in the spiritual.

We can not see darkness as such just as we can not see light itself.... we can only see other things in light which we can not see in darkness.
Philosophically speaking though, we see better in darkness because when we can not see through our eyes, we see through our mind which uses imagination and experience to picture like an original sketch or painting.

Not really because darkness is the absence of light. We can however "experience" darkness.

I love your question, because it proves how vulnerable an non perfect are our senses. If we can not see darkness then how can we be sure that we see light? Every thing is an ilution.

darkness is an absence of light, whatever your eyes see are results of light passing through your eyes, you can not see a lack of, you cannot see darkness because it's not a black mass of anything, it's just the absence of lightyou're not seeing anything
