Considering that the age of information is changing, and you no longer need a person to help you sort through card catalogs when you go to a library, what services do you expect or want from your reference librarian? Do you want to be able to e-mail someone and get fairly-instant responses about information-related questions? Do you want computer classes? When you're using public terminal computers, do you want someone who can help you with basic computer questions? Do you want your tax dollars to pay for a reference librarian at all? Is there anything else you'd like to see?

Are there books that you got bored with and quit?

What about ones that really turned you on to the author?

Do you read best sellers or unknowns?

Does it? Im writing a paper on a christmas book, i chose this one and I have critically analyze it and my professor said this might be an option to persue. To me it seems to, there seems to be the idea of forgiveness and redemption and the Marley incident sort of reminded me of punishment and hell. But are the spirits just random spirits that are just products of Charles Dickens imaginaton or do they bring sort of Christian ideals with them. What do you guys think?

I have the names of a couple of established directors whose previous work leads me to believe they might be interested in my theatre piece. I would like to put out a query to them but, although references to their work turns up in an ordinary Internet search, I have not found any contact information in that way. Thanks much for any clues.

Ok, ok... so it's not THAT big of a deal. But, as I sit and ponder myself now and who/where I thought I would be when I was a child/teenager, it is as if I am on another planet. Plans don't equal happiness, I understand that now. What I thought would happen was not, of course, what did happen. And I am happier for what it truly is, MY life.... all the good and all the bad makes it perfect.
But, I have to ask those coming close, like myself, and those who have passed over this hill of age.... What are some things you would suggest I try to do/see/experience before I am 30?

Does anyone know the meaning of the name 'Zahin'?

Is it a Hindu or Muslim name? In one search it is defined as ingenious with arabic origins and in another search it is defined as Great with hindu origins.

Anyone with the right definition?

Uhhh, okay, not exactly backstage...
But, does anyone here know where bands come out after gigs at the Entertainment Centre in Adelaide (South Australia), and how to get there?
We're seeing something fairly soon, as I wanna drag my mum back so she can act fifteen again. =)

Thanks a bunch!
