I really can't say. I can say that I know nothing of what others know until they tell me.
I, too, spend a great deal of time in retrospect. It is there where I discover how little of myself it is that I know. All I can say is that I have some sense of who I am because I've worked diligently on my core beliefs.
It is what I do with this system of beliefs that can give me parameters on how well I know myself. I think your rate of growth directly correlates with your rate of introspection.
I think more people than not don removable masks for the public to view and admire, while the genuine image of who they are is kept from view.

i know myself better than anyone ever will, and i love it that way. i'm in a relationship right now, and even i think it's important not to give all of yourself to someone. in the end, all you have is you, so love yourself!

Other than Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, I know myself the best. I am a "reserved" ( I refuse to say shy) person. Though when I am with different people, different "parts" of my personality come out. Its not like I fake or do this on purpose, its just what these people bring out in me. So different people know different me's and parts of me, and then there are parts of me no one knows.

To be honest, no, I don't....though others don't know me any better than I know myself either. My journe through life is far from over, and everyday I learn something, which changes something I thought, or gives me new knowledge I didn't have before, and that changes who I am, or who I thought I was.

A coin has two sides, and so do we. A side we can see, and a side we can't. Each side is distorted when seen. I think I know myself as well as I can know myself, but others know me equally as well, because even if they don't know my every thought, they know theirs. You don't have to go through an experience to live it, and learn from it. Human history!

I believe I have spent more time in personal retrospect than someone around me would have spend delving into ME.
although, there are many ways we have disregarded our true self, but even then the ignorance requires acceptance THEN denal of the fact.
So, yes.

yes, i know myself better than anyone else in this world but sometimes i feel like i dont even understand myself thats because of complex thoughts. when you get married your partner is the other person who can know more about you infact they can know more than what you know about yourselfs but externally. internally no one else can know you better than yourself

Who doesn't know themselves better than anyone else? I do know myself better than anybody else except for my husband. My family doesn't know me the way I know me and friends don't know me the way I know me. I like to be in charge of what people know about me because I don't want anyone to misunderstand why or what I did in my life. After all I like to be a mysterious person for the good reasons and not the bad.

I think I am. But it's just sometimes I truly feel like I even didn't know who I am, maybe because I think I know who I am to much.... this often happened to me.
The others are unimportant. People tend to judge you that they really know who you are, but truthfully, they don't know anything.
