Sure why not. As long as we aged slower I'm not sure how this could be seen as a bad thing. Unless you look at it from an over population view point. But I don't think it would make too much of a difference. You would still have alot of folks dieing young from smoking, drinking, accidents, murders.. etc etc.

No. Because the average person over that age of 70 has 2 types of chronic illness. And its all downhill from there.

I plan to be pretty decrepit around 70-80, so another 70 years of increasing decrepitude would suck. The only people who can get away with that kind of advanced age are senators or royals.

The average life span used to be THIRTY YEARS
you have your children, you raise then until about the point they have children, you die. there's no mother-in-law bs to worry about, there's no decaying disease, there's no mother earth fighting back against overpopulation.
