I've been writing, almost all my life. As I had to leave college before getting a degree (relative was dying), I never applied for a periodicals writing job. My yahoo 360 blog is consistently good, and I want a PAID WRITING JOB. Where do I start, considering I DON'T HAVE A DEGREE?

image copywriting I am confused?

I had some pictures copied on to film that i took.
I asked the clerk as the pictures were being printed, "Why is there no feature to add a coywrite to these images that I took?'
He told me "just because you take the picture does mean you can copywrite it"
he went on to tell me that I had to be a ligitimate business in order to copywrite an certain image.

I am sorry but I feel that if I take a picture with my camera that image belongs to me. If someone tries to use that image to make money for themselves and doesn't pay me a royalty I am going to sue them.

Am I wrong to think this or is the CVS clerk right?
Please shed some light on this confusing topic.

What most fascinated you about The Da Vinci Code?

I was drawn in by the Fibonacci sequence and solving the puzzles, though the "bottomline" thoroughly annoyed me.

Keeping aside the Jesus' marriage fable for a moment, what *OTHER* elements interested you? Art? History? Maths? Anagrams? Puzzle-solving?

Is a painful feeling distinct from the associated unpleasantness?

I think that the feeling itself is not cognitive, while pleasantness is. This is because a feeling is not an evaluable predicate, but pleasantness is? Am I correct in assuming this?

This is a sequel to "Brisingamen," and I believe it was called "City of Angels," "Queen of Angels," or "City of Light," or somesuch, referring to Las Angeles. It had the same cast of characters.

Question for booklovers: What is the best Fantasy Trilogy that you have ever read?

I am a bookworm and read books on almost all subjects; these days I am on the hunt for fantasy authors I have not explored as yet. I would prefer trilogies because anthologies beyond three books can be a bit too tedious for a person like me who is reading all the time.
I recently got my first taste of Mercedes Lackey; the book was Exile's Honour and I would give it three stars.

Ba Jin, recommended translations?

I just read a question about this author, who I knew nothing of, looked up a brief bio on him, and am now interested in his work. However, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a preferred english translation of either Family or Vengeance. Or, is there another title you would suggest I start with? Thanks.

ballet question?

i was wondering what the correct name for a ballet turn is called. im talking about the turn where the dancer rotates 360 degrees, and then sort of sticks out thier leg to give themselves some more umph to turn again and they can go on for ages

Help with Frankenstein essay topic?

I've just finished the 1818 version of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein," and am in the process of writing an essay. However, I've run short of ideas to meet the page minimum.

My topic is concerning her mother, Mary Wollstonecraft, and how she and her book "A Vindication of the Rights of Woman" have affected the theme of paternal negligence and where the opinions originated from.

I've already cited some examples of the characters and their experiences with their fathers, and have written about Wollstonecraft's abusive father, but I need more material to work with that will take up about a page (double spaced).

What are some other flop musicals?

I just wanted to know where I could find auditions for movies or shows in Las Vegas?

I'm a 20 year old college student, I've done everything from contemporary to Shakespeare. I also have skills in writing, kung fu, and modelling. I'm so passionate about this, and I'm ready to start a career, but I'm having trouble finding auditions. Does anybody have any ideas?
