In the time of the last ice age, approximately 10,000 years ago, the ancestors of the current day "Native Americans" or "American Indian" crossed a land-bridge in the Bering Strait from current-day Mongolia and Russia into current-day Alaska. As they migrated following the herds of animals, they settled in current-day Alaska, Canada, the continental United States, Mexico, Central American and South America.
There is evidence on the northeast coast of the current day United States to suggest that the Phoenicians were actually the first "white" people to set foot on this continent. This would have been about 5,000 years ago, during the hey-day of the Ancient Greek civilization that spawned the stories of Zues and Athena. There are burial tombs with markings that closely, if not exactly, mimic the Phoenician alphabet of the time. Whether they were establishing a settlement, or whether they were blown of course and stranded here hasn't been determined ... but the evidence strongly suggests that they were here first.
There is also evidence in the form of burial tombs and other artifacts to suggest that the Vikings from the Scandinavian region of Europe did relocate and settle in the area of current day "Newfoundland". This would have been approximately 500 years prior the Christopher Columbus sailing across the Atlantic looking for another route to India and China. Over the course of Eric the Red's and Leif Ericksen's lifetimes, the Vikings island-hopped their way across the Atlantic establishing colonies on present day Greenland and Iceland.
An interest side tidbit to the Viking story is the fact that the Vikings were the first "white" people to explore into current-day Middle America. In an effort to find a safer harbor, the Vikings explored inlets and bays all the way down the eastern seaboard, around Florida and into the present-day Mississippi River. They sailed as far north as they could, landing near present-day Tulsa, Oklahoma. According to the stories I've read, some of the Vikings decided to sail back to the south to meet-up with the fellow Vikings while other's decided to explore further. There were many Native American stories about meeting "fair haired strangers" long before the Mayflower landed at Plymouth Rock. Near the present-day Port of Catoosa, Oklahoma on the northeastern edge of Tulsa, Oklahoma there is a large rock inscribed with ancient Viking runes -- the Viking alphabet -- to lend credence to the fact the Vikings were here long before Columbus. Another interesting fact is that "modern" explorers and settlers who thought they were the first white people in the interior of the present-day United States met "Native Americans" with fair hair and blue-eyes.

What new world, this world is older than the great flood, older than rain water.
There was no new settlers here in America there were perpetrators who invaded a settlement of natives and conquested and conquered and crippled their world.
The invasions in history was only called the new world when they were exploring with half a brain and you were a cave person?
mankind just needs breathing room because he is greedy and does not practice birth control for one thing. The other is to explore and find things and appreciate them and give back to the lands you conquer not rob them and leave. And that is why I want to be one of the first on a rocket to another planet because it is really old here and boring, so we need another planet to ruin.
