I was drawn in by the Fibonacci sequence and solving the puzzles, though the "bottomline" thoroughly annoyed me.

Keeping aside the Jesus' marriage fable for a moment, what *OTHER* elements interested you? Art? History? Maths? Anagrams? Puzzle-solving?

How such a poorly written novel could become a best seller and captivate the Globe and be made into a movie.

The puzzles can not disguise the ending is lackluster, nor can it really distract from rather poor plot.

Oh wait the puzzles where the plot.

One would be better of going straight to the source and reading "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" and the "Messianic Legacy"

The puzzles were fascinating, everyone loves an adventure story. But what I really like is the conversations that have come up because the book was written. Whether or not the story is true, I'd like to think it is, it has made for some terrific water cooler talk!

I read the book, but didn't see the movie.I personally liked the symbols described by the author in the paintings by Da Vinci!!"The Last Supper"in particular.I never noticed that one of the disciples looks like a woman, and the table setting,I never really studied it.It was astounding and something to think about!

Honestly, the hype surrounding it. I didn't believe it could really be as bad as people said. Silly me. (And I do mean the book, not the film.)
