In the midst of anger, do we say things we really don't mean? Or do we actually speak the truth? What is your true opinion? Thanks!!!

I want to write about a book that has some kind of moral in it, not shallow, isn't too fictional, suitable for a 10th grader, interesting, good language and writing style.
Some books I read and liked:My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult (though didn't like the style of writing), Inkheart; Inkspell; Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke, Harrypotter series by J. K. Rowling, One Child by Tory Hayden, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas, Magyk by Angie Sage, The wee free men; A hat full of sky by Terry Patchet, Pygmalion by Bernard Shaw, Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot. Books I read but didn't like or even complete:Little Women by Lousia May Alcott (nice story but very boring to read), The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
If you think any of the above is good enough or would like to suggest another book please don't hesitate and do tell. Please tell me why you think that book should be the one! Buying a book is no problem! Thx

O.K. So here's the problem. My g,g,grandpa's name is Joseph McDermond. I know his wife's name is Martha. But when I go to look for his parents name and on back further I am stuck. My second cousin has hit a dead end also. I have no credit card to buy the info from any genealogy sites. Does anyone know of this mans info from their own searching or of a site where I can finally get the answers? My tree is very lopsided. My mom's side goes all the way back to england. But my dads side stops very quickly to his great grandfather, my gg grandfather.

I have no idea what to make of "The Yellow Cow" by Franz Marc. I only have knowledge of what the colors in this painting stand for (yellow being feminine and blue being masculine, as to what the Expressionist movement explains) but even then, I don't know if there are any other details I have to go into. I also have no idea what style could this be considered as. As many of you know, some paintings simply don't have an explanation, but I'm curious as whether this one merely follows the patterns of German Expressionism by showing color to symbolize or it means something more... If anyone help me with this subject, I would greatly appreciate it.
This is the link to the picture, just in case any of you are curious

I don't read Cyrllic writing. I'm not a beginner on genealogy. I'm in the United States. They arrived in New York in 1864.
