At the moment I am writing my third childrens fiction novel and plan on penning a complete series. I have been accepted by The Children's Literary Agency New York but after a google search I have doubts about their commitment.I have sent off a few query letters but it is so difficult to even get an agent to look at your work. I genuinely believe my books are fun filled reads and have commercial viability so if anyone out there is in the know, I would be forever grateful for any pointers.

infact i am confused about this concept of the political. some people think it is concerned with the sharing and the shaping of power, authority, and influence.others also think of it as a significant pattern of human relationship that involves to some extent the involvement of conflict and integration in all sort of human endevor. i therefore want a clear understanding of which of them is correct and very acceptable to be used in the explanation of the concept of the political?

(question for fun, if these things bother you don't bother answering)

You find a genie that will either grant you the midas touch or turn you to a conscious gold statue. Would you want the Midas Touch...not just any Midas Touch but a cursed one that only turns people into gold? Think about it. Would you want riches beyond compare at the cost of turning someone into a living statue (lets assume they stay aware but just can't move)?

Would you turn beautiful people to gold to sell as statues or ones you don't like to be melted down? (start an art gallery maybe?)

If you leave them as statues how would you pose them? (nude/clothed)?

Could you/would you turn them back?

Would you have guilt or would you try to get people who like to be the center of attention?

or if you chose to be a statue, how would you be posed and where would you be? How would it feel?

Personally I would love to be surrounded by beautiful nude statues of naked ladies, but hey thats just me, what would you choos

My acting school has auditions comming up in January for Sleeping Beauty I'm not very familiar with the play... anyway I was wanting to ask what a good audition song would be for trying out to be one of the fairies. I'm guessing that they would be singing a saprano role. I'm a 2nd but can sing most saprano parts. I'm thinking about singing Popular from Wicked but It is a little overdone... Any not overdone suggestions? Tell me if you think popular is a good choice to plz!
