i have seen a few paintings i like and they are paintings (oil i believe) of women but without the facial features...that is all i know! hope someone out there really knows their art!

Sounds like de chirico -- his people often have mannequin or effigy-like faces -- cloth and seams

Lots of artists (specially impressionists and art-deco) paint them with minimal features. Picasso, Warhol and M.F.Husain come to mind.

I don't know, but I bet you could find them easily. There is probably a cloud of femininists egging his house right now...
