before you jump me.... i know plenty of artists painted their wife, but i am looking for 1or maybe 2 that either were predominantly painters of their wives or they are known for painting their wife.... thanks and i appreciate it

Salvador Dali used his wife, Gala, as a model in many of his works (see Link 1)
Rembrandt van Rijn also painted many works using his wife, Saskia, as a model (see Links 2 & 3)

We all paint our wives at one time or another but one famous wife-painter is Matisse. Several of his works are called 'Madame Matisse'. He usually used models who were not his wife but he was the kind of guy who had to keep working even when the model didn't show up so Madame Matisse got dragged into the picture (pun intended).

Both Rembrandt Harmensz van Rijn and Claude Monet used their wives as models for their paintings. Pablo Picasso also painted his wives and mistresses frequently.

He didn't predominantly paint her, but Salvador Dali did quite a few of his wife Gala. He was extremely obssessed with her. Sorry if that isn't much help.

Picasso had three wives and numerous lovers who had profound influences on his art and appeared in many of his works. In fact, women were his primary interest and it shows in his painting and sculpture. His work was even dismissed as pornographic while he was in his 70's. I can't think of a better example for you.
