If philosophy is just, basicly, what you feel in YOUR mind then why do people say, for instance, Plato was a great philosopher? All he did was speak his mind, the only way you could be a great philosopher is if people agree with you.

Well, acknowledging that words are simply carriers of conceptual ideas that are individually defined in everyone's subconscious mind potentially unique in subtleties, definitions behind the meanings of words hold greater weight than the words themselves. I do not believe anyone is pure evil even if evil is all the focus upon and reflect outward to the World. Often things that are misinterpreted get labeled as evil. For instance may interpret sodomy as pure evil in action yet the attempt of forced penetration has nothing to do with sexuality and can be forced adminstration of drugs believed to be helpful to the subject even though they may not be helpful at all and constitute a raping of sorts. Lobotomies were accepted and are chemical and physical mind rape purpetrated with believed good intent based on a confused and presumed evil and wrong message shared upon the World. The Devil is a metaphor of humanity acting evil to humanity. Am I wrong?

I've never had voice lessons, just sang in the car lol, but whenever I sing I have no idea what my singing voice is. For example, every time I listen to a song I try to make my voice sound like the singer's voice instead of being consistent. Is there any way for me to find the voice that I should sing in?

Let me define hate in this case: to not care about the happiness or well-being of; to deny the same rights as you; to look down on, fear. I'm a bisexual woman. If I want to marry someone, then I should be able to marry that person, man or woman, without having to get the approval of people I don't even know, right?

Recently my dad had an autosomal DNA test done by the website DNAtribes, He is from Germany.. his mom is german and his dad was latvian, however the test came back saying he was most likely to be portugese and northeast polandese... there were also 18 other matches because they tell you your top 20 matches... most of these were north african and mediterreanean... does anyone know or trust DNAtribes reputability? is it possible to breakdown very specific areas and regions that my dad is likely to have in his blood (i.e. lille, france, andalusian spain, asni berber)? oh, in the DNA test there was no mention of him being German at all... he was never told that his mom was adopted or his dad.... but both parents are dead so we cant ask.

please help explain autosomal testing!! serious replies only please.

If God really did love everyone, then that would include people of all colors, beliefs, heights, genders, and sexual orientations, which means that anyone who said that gay people are SOL on marrying who they want, regardless of gender, are speaking against their own God. We are all supposedly made in God's image, right? That includes EVERYONE.

Evolution is a great theory despite holes, and I can understand how the universe began. How come you can't come up with your own way of thinking, your own answer to the questions? Why would you support a position with no physical evidence? Please leave your emphasis on the first question if you are one of the people who uses "faith" as your magical word to answer these questions.
