Certainly I've been told that there were 2 Irish genocides,
Japan has trouble with it's history,
Many Americans think they invented democracy and cite the declaration of independence even they owned slaves for nearly 100 years afterwards. In short, it's easy to see other countries miopic view of history; but are Brits the same?

As I lay on the beach crows gouge out my eyes with a rusty spoon
I pray for this delirium madness to end but instead it gets worse
Polar bears surround me, laughing they say "penguin penguin"
I look to the sky and notice it is no longer there
I run to the mountain and hide but the polar bears find me
Please mother make the polar bears go away

I've had a Sony F828 digital camera (8mp) for almost 2 years, but I haven't a clue when it comes to all the manual settings on it. I tend to use the automatic mode. There's speed priority, apperture, and loads of other modes.

Is iso 64 only to be used during the day, or can I use it during the night, what's the main difference between say iso 64 and iso 800.

Any tips welcome, and any good sites where I can do some reading up would be great. Thanks :)

I have had the WORST creative block for quite some time now(over 1 year). I dabble with creating computer generated artwork, and haven't been able to do anything since my old computer had a hard drive failure due to a flood in my mom's basement(long story). Some of what I considered to be my best artwork to date was on there and is now hopelessly lost forever. Should I perhaps look into working with new mediums? What are some good ways to get over a creative block? I really don't know what to do. I'm stressed out and desperately need a creative outlet again, but nothing seems to be working for me. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

We now have world problems that demand a coherent intelligent response. How can we deliver such a response and maintain dishonesty. We seem to hide the fact we are dishonest behind excuses of caring for another. When in reality we are playing a game of not being honest with others because we fear others being honest with us.
If we are at all serious about the mess the world is in, then surely it time to stop the game!
There is little more at stake now than a little fear of hurt feelings.

This is my argument against Descartes who came up with the saying 'Cogito Ergo Sum' (I think, therefore i am).

He believes that thinking is the only proof of existence since our senses have the power to deceive us. And he believed that there must be an evil genius that gives us our sensory experiences (delusions)...

However, i don't know a single human being on this earth that can think without having some type of sensory experience. Therefore, if sensory experiences are to be disqualified as nothing more than a delusion, our thoughts must be disqualified as well since they are the results of the senses.
We wouldn't think if we didn't have a reason.

What do you think?

In my opinion it's Lolita by Nabakov.

Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins, my sin, my soul Lolita. She was plain Lo in the morning standing four foot ten in socks, she was Lola at school, Delores on the dotted line but in my arms she was always Lolita.
