As I lay on the beach crows gouge out my eyes with a rusty spoon
I pray for this delirium madness to end but instead it gets worse
Polar bears surround me, laughing they say "penguin penguin"
I look to the sky and notice it is no longer there
I run to the mountain and hide but the polar bears find me
Please mother make the polar bears go away

ummm...well, as surrealistic poems go, it's pretty good!
It's strange & disturbing, if that's what you're going for and yet at the same time cute & playful.
The crows & rusty spoon represent your nihilistic side. The polar bears & penguin reference hint at your love of and fear of animals (Please mother make the polar bears go away) & also suggest an arctic coldness around you. Either that or it's describing a vivid hallucination or drug-induced cute nightmare.
So you don't like polar bears? What about penguins?
Pandas & unicorns...?

I'll try to write a surrealistic poem...
slippery green eels slither sinisterly as silver snakes snicker surreptitiously and my mind drifts to purple cliffs and blue water deep as indecision this spoon in my froot loops a question unanswered but the unicorn will keep us safe from darkness...

I think it's wonderful and unique.
I also think that you could make a story out of it.
I love to read poems, even though I don't understand half of the ones I read! I don't blame that on you either. I'm just not good at understanding the meaning(s) behind things. Keep going!
