Gosh, I hope not. Look what a mess they made of this planet!

Certainly.

This assumes that the scientists don't de-planet any more planets such as Pluto. LOL.

When my father was small, about 1920, in Indianapolis, scientists were worried about the 500 mile race, as speeds increased. They were certain if a man went over 60 mph he would die.

Einstein did not teach you couldn't go faster than light, he just described that there were problems involved with the amount of energy needed to do this. Solving problems is one thing mankind does pretty well.

George.

Eventually all life on earth will cease as the sun boils our oceans away, and destroy everything. The earth Will become a dust ball.
If we are to survive as a specie cs we must develope space travel.
Although mars is a scant 6 months away form us there is no way humans could survive there indefinitely with out sunlight.
Our only chance is other star systems of which there must be zillions with planets suitable for life.

By the time we have colonized another planet we will no longer be humans so the answer is no.

I am sure that within the next 200 years it will be done with Mars. It just depends on how far science can advance and if we can creat a environment like the one we have here or similar to it on that planet.

The only answer to that lies in our ability to do something like that, if we keep getting afraid of learning too much then we'll never even make it off earth for much longer than a week or two.

eventually. mars for now seems like the most likely place for humans to colonize. however, i'm sure people would be rather hesitant to travel there since it takes about 3 months to travel from here to mars.
