Modern Day Cinderella story-like novels?

I like chick-lit(novels). I'm looking for a new read. Preferably, some sort of modern day Cinderella story with a handsome "prince" included. Any suggestions of novels I may like? Thanks

My friend has ancient paintings of popular Indian artists ,where can I find potential buyers for their sale?

I sell paintings of emerging and eminent artists of India. Recently I saw that one of my acquaintances has a collection of ancient paintings of pre 1900 and first quarter of 1900. They are unique art works which has got a very high value.

1984-the book and the film?

I'm reading 1984 by George Orwell for the moment and I'm going to watch the film as well. Has anyone read the book and seen the film? Are there many similarities and does it look like the book or not?
And what do you think about the book? I haven't finished it yet, but I love it. It makes you think about our society and all the other things, it inspires you as well.
