Am I...??

Because leaving as a mortal in this broken world feel like i am the only one. Every day, on TV, there's no news about human saving human anymore, all I see, on TV on the newspaper, dying, killing, suicide, war, bloodbath, massacre...when will it end??? Why am I waisting my time waiting and hoping when even in my house my family is at war. Everything is broken...

So, am I...?

As I walk down that hall
past all the friends
past all the teachers
As I walk past them all
I keep my eyes down
looking at the ground
as it slowly passes under me
I look at the ground
instead of in the faces
Faces of people who talk
People who talk about me
I keep my eyes down
instead of seeing them all
Those people who
tease and torment me
I keep my eyes down
to hide all the pain
The pain they induce in me
The pain that will never go away

It is a beautiful painting that my mother bought, it has been much commented on, and I would love to see more of this person's work. Any help towards this would be much appreciated.

i was doing some research on this subject over the summer, in preparation for my dissertation which takes place in the second semester of the final year and i've yet to come across a simple and more easily explained definition of this theory. it would be of great help to me not forgeting also that it would put me out of my misery if you could do this, as well as give me examples of what constitutes or defines existentialism, according to you
