I have never understood how people can ask questions like how much is this gun, paper or ring worth? Do you call up MACCO body repair and ask them how much they are going to charge you to fix your car. One has to see items like that, check their condition, see if they are fake, you see what I am trying to say? I had this antiques show ask me about a gun their expert had it valued by phone at $2440. When I picked it up, I knew right way it was worth from 700 to 1200 hundred dollars. Before the Italians started, making guns for reenactors the Japanese had tried their hand. On the inside of the hammer plate, there was marked “Made in Japan”. They did a better job, then what the Italians are doing today theirs passed for authentic. I would estimate that your rifle is worth about $1500 if in good condition and not a repo. God Bless You and the Southern People.

Depends on condition but I dont' think that much. I heard that there's fence made out of them in Missouri. A new Browning 45-70 single shot probably would be worth more.

condition, condition, condition, with all original parts and finish it can be worth up to about 800 to 1000 US Dollars.
If the metal or wood has been refinished, the value will quickly drop to 300 to 500 US Dollars.
