Marriage requires communication and togetherness. If you are spending a lot of personal time on the computer, you are taking it from your marriage. I suggest you schedule some together time soon. Leave the computer and kids at home. Take your wife out to dinner. Go for a long walk. Really talk to her and remind yourself why you got married in the first place.

My husband also lives on his computer. He can't stand 20 wakeup minutes without it. I've decided to find out what's up with that so I am trying to stay on the computer as much as he does. Yesterday he complained about "no Socks" a few minutes ago he asked "what's for lunch?" I told him there are ramen noodles under the cabinet if he gets hungry. It's not like he never gets to use his computer, it's with him at work and at play. I think it's an addiction.

Beceause it takes your attention away from your wife, your focus away from your family.
If you try to manage your computer time to incorporate your family, your wife would probably be happier.
Then of course, there is that whole other side, internet chatting, but lets not go there.......
