I need a last name for two characters in my book. Vice President Lorenzo and his Daughter Paulina.

(tips: their both Roman Catholics and born American Citizens but their ancestory originated in South America)

Lopez, Martinez, Esquibel, Garcia, Perez

Try saying Lorenzo and each last name in turn until you get one that sounds professional. You might want a more Hispanic name than Paulina for the daughter. It's a bit jarring. Lorenzo, by the way, is more Italian.
